This pulpit Bible is presented to Puli Christian Hospital as a gift from Norway through his servants here- Alfhild and Bjarne Gislefoss- on the occasion of my visit and preaching here this day. 

My message recounts the miraculous way in which from the very start I saw God create this place for His glory so that men by being ministered to for the healing of their bodies, might specifically come to experience eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. 

Never one without the other! May the blessing of God rest on all who labor to fulfill this exclusive purpose. May the wrath of God fall on any or all who turn this place away from this high and holy calling and purpose.

"Never one without the other!" 醫療傳道缺一不可，這是Bob Pierce 很重要的勉勵。這既不是標語，也不是口號，而是認知，也是見證。從主耶穌在四福音中的教訓，醫療就是傳道，傳道就是醫療！這也是主給我們埔基原始捐助者的期待和命令。我們不可以忽視這個起初重要的異象。

我深信那在你們心裡動了善工的，必成全這工，直到耶穌基督的日子(腓立比1:6) 

（註）兩年後，1978 / 9 / 6, Bob Pierce 博士就在加州因白血病過世。他沒有再回來過埔基。
